Knowing one's body is to know one's a mountain.

Human and earth, body to body, the landscapes merging,

calling the wild soul back   to these bones, veins, and hips.

Body to Body  are small-group daylong journeys into the wilderness seeking a full-body encounter with our own wild psyche and soul-searches, through deep embodied communion and conversation with the animate earth.

Each adventure invites you  to learn and explore the intimate topography and geology of your own body and to traverse your own inner nature––as you find yourself reflected, sparked, and enhanced by the natural landscape that holds us. For each edition, we will spend the day in body-to-body investigations and dialogues with a specific species or element as we cultivate our sense-ability, empower our wild soul, meet our deeper longings, and yield into our belonging to the larger-than human community.

A range of tools and practices will be offered for immersing in the elemental world, seeking nature’s guidance, and rediscovering your “deep body”– the meeting place of mind, senses, eros, and wild psyche.

We welcome those who identify as women as well as non-binary people interested in exploring through the female form.

PLEASE NOTE: The Body to Body daylongs  involve a fair amount of walking and hiking (~35-40 % of our time together.  If you are not an easeful hiker, this may not  be a good fit for you. If you have Qs about this, or any other details, please email us at connect@intuitivedance.org
